Actually, they’re aspen trees. They’re all over the mountains in this area. Incidentally, they’re also called “quakies” because when the wind blows through them, the leaves shiver and quake and rattle together.

Lovely trees, Caryn. When I lived in AZ, I used to travel up to Flagstaff to see the Aspens. I like the way you captured them in your picture here.
