Another lost photo from the archives, chosen this time for the hazy glow created by the low lighting. Until I rediscovered this photo and a few others, I didn’t realize I seem to have a fascination with barbed wire.

I really like this one. I stink at macroshots with my little 6mpx ‘instamatic’ digital; but I love the blurred background effect you can get with these close ups.

Like the angle the barbed wire makes through this image. Lovely colors and tones. Great DOF and composition.

Gorgeous macro! I love the softness of the green and the contrasting hardness of the wire. Well spotted and captured!

Wonderful detail…and just a hint of wire. The summer colors are oh-so-welcome on this snowy day. Wishing you all the best for 2009!!!

I like the surprise value of finding barbed wire in this green setting. There is something about the juxtaposition of the two that is arresting. Fine image.
