You are a brave lass to stand still long enough to shoot this. Nice B&W work.

Not a fella to be messing with, but My God they are such magnificent creatures. I love snakes, and your photograph is exquisite

A beautiful animal (and image) but yikes, you don’t be stepping on him or anywhere near him. Amazing this shot is so close!

Yes, and it’s a fantastic B&W, really sharp and with a great lighting, really good!

framing and tones are great- the previous one too, i like your pictures-
you could erase the spot of light right – it would be better

A remarkable close up of this dangerous looking fellow. I hope you were using a long lens to get this shot!

It is so cute makes you want to go over and hold it and pet it. Very Cool shot!

I love the treatment of this B & W image! Good catch!

Very cool shot. The b+w tones are perfect.
I guess it will make a great story years from now. Hand to fang combat.

I gotta tell you this shot made my heart skip a beat when it first popped on the screen. Wow…great one though. It’s at times like these when I realize they don’t make a lens that’s “too long”…keep you away while getting the tight shot. Nice one!

Wow, that one is immovable! Goodness, the grass snakes we have here are *so* timid, they’re like little sand lizards, slinking back into the heather at the faintest beat of a footfall – crap photography fodder!
I’d imagine happening across this fella made your heart race!
