Monarch Butterfly

We’ve been away from home for a few days, visiting my husband’s family. A visit to a local butterfly garden yielded this gorgeous monarch. I was loving the textures and patterns so much, I converted it to black and white in order to show them off better.

  6. Amit, I decided to forgo color for the reasons listed above: I wanted to highlight the textures and patterns. Plus everyone does monarch butterfly photos in color; I wanted to do something different.
