Lots of dark pictures lately. Let’s lighten up, shall we? This flower photo is from my garden right after an evening rain storm. I love how the flowers that are just past their prime begin curling into weird shapes. Much more interesting than the perfect, sunny, fully open ones.

i know that it’s a perfect time to capture flowers after the rain stops.. but i can’t seem to force myself to go out..
you did a great job capturing this one.. nice work!

Well spotted, and perfectly processed! This is a textbook example of a colourful nature shot!

You find the most interesting things and turn them into beautiful art. I doubt I have ever seen petals criss cross like that. Add the colour and the droplets….
!
Amazing

i just love how you have captured the drops on the petals as they curl. While it appears simple the subtlety of nature is captured brilliantly and you are so right – “Much more interesting than the perfect, sunny, fully open ones.”
