Orange Flower, Post Rain
Lots of dark pictures lately. Let’s lighten up, shall we? This flower photo is from my garden right after an evening rain storm. I love how the flowers that are just past their prime begin curling into weird shapes. Much more interesting than the perfect, sunny, fully open ones.

i know that it’s a perfect time to capture flowers after the rain stops.. but i can’t seem to force myself to go out..
you did a great job capturing this one.. nice work!
Amazing click!!! Those water droplets looks so divine on the flower!! I will write some poem using that pic!!
I love the water drops on the flowers
Wonderful shot, Caryn! Great DOF and color and the rain drops are just gorgeous!
fine macro shot, i love the drips of water on the flower!
Well spotted, and perfectly processed! This is a textbook example of a colourful nature shot!
You find the most interesting things and turn them into beautiful art. I doubt I have ever seen petals criss cross like that. Add the colour and the droplets….
