Processed with Pioneer Woman’s Old West action.

In other news, I’m firing up the blog again, and have scheduled uploads for every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for at least the next few weeks. It’s great to be back!

Also, I did a bunch of updates which have necessitated me uploading up ALL my photos again. Please be patient; they’ll be up again soon.

  3. Thanks, Emily! It’s great to be back. I’d really missed posting, but I didn’t realize how much until I decided to put more pictures up. Then I just couldn’t stop.

Well, Rian, I’m TRYING to, at least. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep that up, but I do have some all queued up so it should last a bit. In the meantime, now I have an excuse to go take some more pictures.

  4. Awesome shot! Love the mix of desert (actually looks more like prairie) and mountains.

  5. Thanks, Jen! I definitely see what you mean, too, about how it looks like prairie, especially with all those flowers.

@Elaine-, Ha! Not always. Sometimes I have my camera right next to me and a beautiful landscape ahead of me, and I just keep on driving.

@Michael Rawluk, Thanks! I think these are such gorgeous flowers, and I love the way they just carpet the desert when the weather has been just right.

  10. Love the color scheme in this one, it feels dry, but still alive at the same time.

@Claus Petersen, I like that description. I think it could apply to much of the desert. Lots of people see that it’s dry, but not everyone notices that it really is alive, too.
