   @rian, It was lucky timing. Dusk, so the light was golden and the moon still low, but not late enough yet to be too dark for pictures, especially with my tripod. Soon after, it got dark very fast.

   @Otto von Münchow, Thanks! You’re very close! It’s actually Cedar Breaks National Monument. It’s equally pretty there but not quite as crowded.
