Ice encroaches on an ice plant (appropriately enough).

@Chantal, I agree! The tendrils and colors are almost creepy, but I thought it was kind of pretty in its own way, too.
Excellent composition, good colors even if the plant i frozen. Nice!
Never heard of an Ice Plant, Caryn and now I know what it looks like.Pretty cool.

@Len Saltiel, They were growing wild on the California coast when we were there, but ours had to be planted.
Wonderful delicate colors on this ice plant. Have never heard of it before.
@Frida, I don’t know their native habitat, but they’re a popular ground cover here.

Thanks! Composing a new picture makes it a lot harder to feel the cold! I was out in that ice for a while, and it was very enjoyable.
