Datura in Blue

Datura, a.k.a. moonflower. Found in a canyon along the San Juan River shortly after a rain storm. Behind it is an ancient Anasazi ruin (not visible). I usually do monochrome treatments with a sepia tone, so went for a more bluish tone here.

  1. Nice shot here, looks good.

  2. Lovely!

  3. Beautiful shot. i like the water mist on the flower.

  4. on my screen it is more B&W

    • @Chantal, Interesting! I just gave it a subtle toning, so maybe that's why. I didn't want it to be TOO blue.

  5. Lovely composition and I like your choice of tones.

  8. Thanks! I do love the gracefulness of moonflowers.
