"Colorful Apricot Stamen" by Caryn Caldwell

With all these autumn colors, I’ve been missing spring a bit so I thought I’d plow through my archives and find a flower photo. These are apricot flowers from our tree. I took the picture this spring, but didn’t post it because I’d already put several others up. Now it’s time.

By the way, I’m testing a new comments system, so if you have any problems with it please contact me!

  1. Beautifully captured Caryn. The blue and bokeh really works well with the flower.

    • Thanks! I was amazed by how blue the sky was that day, and had to get the contrast between the sky and the white-white of the flower.

  2. I love the interaction between white and blue

  3. just what i need to brighten up the middle of the work week.. :) great catch!

    • Thanks! So I wasn't the only one craving a little mid-week color, huh? :-)

  5. Wow Caryn, now I'm missing Spring! Beautiful shot.

    • Oh, Phillip, me too! Fall is fun for a few weeks, but now I'm ready to have flowers back.

  6. a beautiful composition in a extraordinary light

  7. This is an amazing shot, Caryn – makes me wish it was spring soon too :-)

    • Thanks! Yeah, I do like fall a lot, but spring is probably my favorite.
