"Aspen Leaves on Branch" by Caryn Caldwell

Aspen leaves, turned autumn gold, shortly before letting go of their branch. Taken near here.

  1. there's really a small window to shoot these great fall colors.. looks like you're doing well! 😀

    • I always, always miss it. Somehow I hit it this year – mainly because I was so determined! I took a bunch of photos within a day or two, and am spreading them out now. Plus it helps to have mountains and canyons around, so I can really spread out both fall and spring.

  2. Beautiful shot. We don't see many Aspens up here.

    • We didn't have them where I grew up, but I love them and am happy to have them here. I just miss the maple trees, with their gorgeous reds and oranges!

  3. I love the orange red tone

    • Thanks, Chantal! Aspen leaves usually turn yellow, so I was excited to see some orange.

  4. Wonderful and light autumn tones….

  5. Fantastic fall colors. Nicely composed.

    • Thanks! I tried a few different angles, but this was the one that I thought worked best.

  6. Gorgeous late autumn image. Love those colors!
