"Frost-Tipped Leaves" by Caryn Caldwell

  1. Beautiful work Caryn, the forest floor goes to sleep :)

    • Thanks, Rosemary! And, yes, it is kind of like that, isn't it? I hope the sleep isn't too long. I'm already looking forward to spring. :-)

  2. first thought that came to mind was "salad".. shows how starved i am at missing breakfast.. ;D great catch..

    • LOL! Yes, I can see that. Hope you were able to get breakfast, or at least an early lunch. :-)

  3. The frost of the leaves is such a great material to work with. Very nice job, Caryn.

    • Thanks! Had to take advantage of all these leaves before they get all raked up. :-)

  4. I like the silver lining! Beautiful job.

    • Thanks! And, yes, the "silver lining" bit is very apt, as frost is so beautiful and so lethal.

  5. frosty !

  6. Nice shot! Congrats!

  7. What beautiful tones in this lovely composition, Caryn.

  8. I do love the white traces the frosting leaves on leafs! Very well captured!

    • Thanks! Those white outlines were exactly what I was hoping to highlight. :-)
