Exactly what I was going for — something a little cold and bleak with just a hint of coming warmth. Seemed to fit the season.
love the toning and the crisp shot you were able to get! nice work!
Thanks, Rian! The toning was from Florabella Colorplay — Winter and French Blue. The processing just didn't come together when I was doing the warm edits I usually prefer. Then I decided to use some cooler actions and was much happier.
This is a great shot, Caryn, wonderful macro work – nice light and details. Have a nice (cold?!) first weekend in winter / December.
Thanks, Truels! And, yes, so far it's been a nice week, though it was a balmy 57 degrees last time I looked (about 45 minutes ago)! No complaints here. Hope yours is good, too!
You have an amazing eye Caryn. Great image!
Thank you! It is so nice of you to say so!! I love your photos, too, and your commentary to go with them.
That is some superb detail! Wow I’m really impressed with this!
Thanks so much! That means a lot to me. It was such a windy day — and cloudy, too — that I was concerned about getting too much movement in the photo. Thank goodness the wind held still on occasion!
