Even my husband had to admit that his darling little girl kitty looks pretty frightening from this angle.

The Big Yawn

I’m yawning even as I post this, which is only appropriate. This is actually one of the first photos I took with my new Nikon DSLR this summer. I lined up for a shot, and Rosie decided to yawn. At least she was polite enough to keep her eyes relatively in focus. Such a sweetie that way.

Looking In

Taking a short break from the series of photos I took on our trip to California to post a few others. This is Echo the Cat, seemingly informing me that if I take a picture around the house it better be of him and no one else. I do love how the cats insert themselves in most of the photos I try to take at home.

Contemplative Rosie

Posted by on Aug 6, 2008 in Cat Obsession, Macro, Monochrome, Photography | 5 comments

I miss this little girl, and Echo and The Basil as well. We have been on vacation for the last several weeks and should be home today, which means that we’ll get to see all three cats again — that is, as long as they haven’t turned traitor and end up following our housesitter home! Despite the absence of felinocity, we have had a wonderful time touring California and, as a bonus, I have hundreds and hundreds of pictures to look through. I’ll start putting them up as soon as I get home, choose my favorites, and process them.
